Yesterday morning I saw the sun rising over Morningside Park and reflecting off a tall building nearby. Inspired by the scene, I created this piece. The sky is a wash of gouache paint and the composition is cut out gouache painted paper.
Another stunning piece! I love the reflection of the sun in the tall building, and the colors are striking. Looking forward to tomorrow's post!
